Ok so your kids just finished their last day of school and are now on Christmas Break. Great right? Yep it is great for about one day before they are climbing up the walls driving you nuts. So what do you do with them between now and Christmas Day when presents arrive? What do you do with them 30 seconds after they get bored with their gifts?
Well here are some Christmas/Winter themed activities you can do with your kids. They are fun and educational. Better yet – cheap. Better yet – you probably have most of the supplies in your home already.

This one has a few more ingredients than the rest but well worth it. Most of the stuff, if you don’t already have it, can be found at your local Dollar Tree. Alka Seltzer is the magic ingredient that makes it snow!

Ziploc bag sealed with baking soda and vinegar. Draw a snowman on the baggie first. Watch the bag fizz and explode!

Pipe cleaners soaked in water and Borax. In a few days you have crystal snowflakes. So beautiful you can even hang on your tree! Watch the crystals grow.
